THIRD ISSUE

IT'S FINALLY HERE!  I had major formatting issues. There are a lot of photos, and I kept adding features.  This is the best issue so far.

I still can't put the covers with the contents, so there are three documents to view (they cannot be printed or downloaded).  And this is still best viewed on a computer.  On my phone the documents are broken up in a very strange way, with the text repeated.  Working on a better on line format.  Hopefully by next issue. Until then, enjoy!

THE SECOND ISSUE IS HERE!!!

Something for everyone, and includes a special "limited time only" Carnaval 4-page photo spread.  (I don't have permissions, so that is why limited time.  Will take it out on Ash Wednesday.)  There might be a few typos in there, but it is otherwise FABULOUS! SO CHECK IT OUT!

The first issue was very late.  Very, very late.  This one is just 8 days late.  Hopefully next issue will be on time, and by March I will be able to find a new on-line format.  (Viewing from the phone is especially problematic, even when you choose "Web View".) By April I hope to be able to start printing a few to leave around town.

I REALLY HOPE YOU ENJOY THE  NEW ISSUE!

WHAT'S INSIDE? EVERYTHING!

THE FIRST ISSUE IN SINGLE PAGE FORMAT

I still have not swapped out all the photos, but here it is in an easier to read format.  The front and back covers, and the "advertising insert" of the Pink Flyer Project are separate due to formatting issues.

EDIT 22 JANUARY 2016: I didn't check this on my phone.  Google Doc's does not covert properly on the phone, even when viewing the blog in "Web View".  My apologies.  It will display the text of the article first- in strange formations- and then show the page as an image, but not sized properly. Hopefully by the March issue I will have found a suitable on-line publishing platform for SSL.  In the meantime, thank you so much for your patience.

RAIN BOWIES

If you read the first issue draft you know that Iris was definitely here to mourn David Bowie's passing and to assist him in making a colourful exit from this world and entry to the next.

http://laladyrae.blogspot.com/2016/01/rain-bowies-lazarus-and-resurrection.html

I am still working on the first issue and will re post the finished project soon, and have already started on issue two, due out at the end of the month.

DRAFT FIRST ISSUE

It's not finished, especially with proofreading. I wrote it so it has massive typos. I won't see most of them until after I have publicly posted it.  Why? I don't know.  I just know that no matter how much I look at something and correct it, I don't see all the typos until I give it to someone else to read. I will be cleaning them up.  Feel free to point out errors. Also I haven't finished 12 and 13 and 14 and 15 because they are smaller articles, which means more formatting. I should have those up by tomorrow night.  I just wanted to get in while the year still ended in 5, lol.

I am loading this before it is finished with the photos I wanted to use.  Most of them have to go. Please read the letter on page 2.  This will be available to download when it is finished and when I swap out the photos over the weekend.

THE FALLOW TIME OF YEAR

The period between Samhain and the Winter Solstice is typically a fallow time of year.  A "break" for the spirits.  I generally don't do witchcraft or engage the spirits during this time.  I had planned to have the first issue ready by Samhain, but... you know how it goes...

The first few issues will be available as a pdf on-line until I can afford bigger print runs.

Bookmark this site and check back on the 25th.

EDIT: Lay out and printing/pdf problems have not resolved properly and I need to see if I can re-do it using photoshop, MS Word (I am using open office which is free but doesn't have a lot of features, and in particular, images don't always print as they appear on screen, or export in the pdf).  Keep checking back!
